I worked at this firm for two years while completing my studies at Cuesta College. The firm specializes in large-scale public projects, including K–12 schools, colleges, and healthcare facilities, which gave me valuable exposure to complex design and planning processes. During this time, I gained hands-on experience in architectural design and site planning. When I transferred to Cal Poly, I chose to focus fully on my academic development and paused professional work to prioritize school. The main programs we used here were Revit and Lumion. Lemon Grove Elementary School Proposal (2022)
As part of our firm’s proposal for a new elementary school in Lemon Grove, I contributed to the interior design and spatial layout of the classrooms, with additional emphasis on shaping the outdoor learning and gathering environments. The amphitheater, featured prominently in the project video, was inspired by one from my own high school experience and reimagined to foster creativity and community for younger students. I independently produced the visual flythrough using Lumion, which became one of my favorite aspects of the project and allowed me to bring the design to life through animation and storytelling.

Cal Poly Hanger pool remodel for student storage (2022)
I was given this project from initial site documentation to initial design. I took site measurements, modeled the as-builts, sourced storage containers, and collaborated with engineers on the footing design. The layout options shown explore different roof and container configurations we were considering. It was especially rewarding to see the before and after shows in the last two photos.

I contributed to the design of this student health center, supporting layout development and planning for Allan Hancock College. The project focused on creating a welcoming, functional space that supports student wellness and accessibility.

Lucia Mar Unified School District Parking Lot Upgrade (2022)
I led the early phases of this project, contributing to the overall site layout and detailed design elements. My role included coordinating design specifics to improve traffic flow, accessibility, and site efficiency for the upgraded parking area.
